About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented data management and analytics specialist to strengthen our data governance and analytics capabilities at International Higher Education (IHE). This role focuses on ensuring data accuracy, optimizing data flows and enabling seamless information sharing to support business priorities.

As a key member of the data analytics and automation team, you will take ownership of data processes, resolve key challenges and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Data Stewardship and Governance: Support the standardisation of product data processes by collaborating with Product Management, Technology, and other teams to ensure alignment with established standards. Facilitate the implementation of automated validation checks and assist in resolving data discrepancies to enhance data accuracy and integrity.Promote data governance best practices across teams, acting as a key contributor to initiatives that improve data accessibility and quality.  Data Analytics and Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards that monitor data health, performance, and trends, providing clear and actionable insights for stakeholders. Transform raw data into structured insights using tools like SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, or Python to support business operations and decision-making. Take ownership of data preparation and visualisation within the domain expertise, working closely with teams from across Pearson and business experts to ensure seamless integration and impactful delivery.  Data Integration and Optimisation: Ensure seamless integration with external partners by optimising data flows and pipelines, supporting accurate and consistent data exchange. Establish mechanisms to onboard new partners effectively, ensuring data feeds are reliable, standardised, and aligned with partner and business needs.  Operational Enablement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions that enhance data accessibility and usability. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and implementing automation where possible.

 

 

Para dar match com essa vaga, é importante que você tenha:

Fit with Pearson culture. Proven experience in data stewardship and analytics. Proven experience in managing large data sets and implementing scalable data solutions. Certifications in data management, analytics or related fields. Hands-on experience with tools such as Tableau, KNIME, Alteryx, or SQL; familiarity with Python or R is a plus. Strong understanding of enterprise systems, such as Oracle or Salesforce, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP. Solid analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and solutions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative mindset and ability to work across disciplines. Excellent communication skills in both English.
