Zinia leverages the technological resources and expertise of Openbank, the digital-native bank of the Santander Group, which is currently rolling out its international expansion plans. Through a simple and flexible banking model, Openbank offers customers the possibility to manage their finances on the website or app.
Mission and responsibilities:
The CDO leads and drives data projects, ensuring the implementation of global policies and standards while promoting data as a key asset. The team safeguards against potential data risks, supporting both Spain’s operations and international expansion.
Combining the functional and technical vision of the data belonging to a financial entity, the main role will be as a DATA STEWARD for b2b business:
- Management of the data lifecycle, ensuring data governance and control.
- Extensive Knowledge of data domain (B2B operational models)
- Definition of data flows
- Data-centric quality framework
- Definition of remediation plans by data point
- Inventory of users of the data
- Constant update of Data Dictionary and reports library.
To be successful in the role you must have:
- At least 4 years of experience in Data Management and Data Analytics.
- Experience in the financial/banking industry.
- Ability to query data in SQL and/or Python and MS Office proficient.
- Advanced knowledge of data architectures (preferable big data arch) and associated technologies related to data (IT stack of a financial entity).
- Preferable experience using Data management tools.
- Languages: Fluent Spanish and Advanced English (C1).
