Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

Data Steward: Manage, maintain, and ensure the quality of enterprise data to further improve its consistency, accuracy, and availability within the automotive purchasing environment;Master Data Management (MDM): Lead process improvement and alignment with data owners and experts, ensuring comprehensive documentation of the process;Communication, Training & Q&A: Act as the key communicator for data-related changes within the Purchasing organization, providing engaging training sessions and handling all Q&A;1st Level Support: Be the go-to person for first-level support on data-related inquiries from the automotive purchasing organization;Data Catalog: Utilize TopBraid-EDG for the semantic description of data, ensuring clarity and accessibility;Reporting and Communication: Develop and maintain a dashboard for transparent representation of master data quality, providing valuable insights to the organization.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Experience in Project Management and practical knowledge in agile software development and current IT solutions;Machine Learning: Basic knowledge in machine learning and its application in data analysis;Programming Skills: Basic Python skills for data transformation tasks based on DataBricks;Database Knowledge: Basic knowledge in SQL;Cloud Services: Knowledge in using cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud for data processing and storage;Experience with UX methods and procurement processes in the automotive sector is advantageous;Knowledge in semantic data integration (e.g., Data Warehouse, Knowledge Graphs, UML/BPML, or Enterprise Data Governance Tools-EDG) and ETL processes (e.g., mappings, transformation rules);Completed university degree (Master/Diploma) in computer science or a comparable field of study;Strong communication skills, resilience, as well as analytical and conceptual approach;Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
