Job Description An Insighting Manager specializes in answering business problems by preparing data, organizing that data, and then analyzing the data to uncover underlying insights (“explains the why”) so that business units can find actionable and meaningful insights that lead to business decisions or actions.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Data Management and Exploration:
Drives the extraction, exploration, manipulation and correlation of large and complex data sets – leveraging on diverse telco data (CRM, Billing, transactional data, network data) with various external sources of data (market research, social, etc) for analytics and insighting
Perform statistical analysis and visualize key trends and patterns for thorough data analysis.
Analytics and Insighting:
Work with different CFUs (brand heads and managers alike), and enabling units (Network, Sales, HR, Finance, ISDP,etc leads and working teams) to frame the right business questions to understand state of business & customers - answerable via Analytics.
Craft business analysis framework to answer key business question: a) what is driving business performance and b) answer why it is happening
Generate deep and holistic understanding of the customer via profiling – demographic, geographic, behavioral, psychographic that enable data-driven strategic decision Making
Leverage and integrate both internal and external data to marry on-ground realities and gather deeper insight into consumer’s context and state of mind
Build cohort analyses, pre & post – to answer adhoc business questions / post mortem and recommend potential strategies
Create visuals to add weight to the narrative and builds an impactful data story to influence decision-making
Stakeholder Management and Knowledge Transfer:
Lead user and stakeholder education on the ways to read results of deep dive customer analytical studies
Enhance the data literacy of the business-users to become a data-driven organization
Help Stakeholders turn general business question into much more targeted, actionable questions for better and correct analytical framework set up
Keep updated with new analytical and insighting techniques and be extremely knowledgeable of industry standards and trends.
REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years experience in Analytics
Level of Knowledge
Strong Data management and Analytics skills
Understanding of end-to-end Data Science practice (i.e. Maching Learning)
Programming expertise on the following languages: SQL, Open Sources (Python, R)
Stakeholder management
Graduate of Statistics, Math, IT, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering
