Job Description Reports to the Customer Data Science Manager. Should be able to harness and have expert skills on data science, learn the business unit being supported, learn new technologies and approaches to the initiatives of the team and should be cooperative and participative in group discussions in presenting results of the studies.The role will help Prepaid Mobile brands understand customer behavior through data analytics to create more value and customer satisfaction. Some of the initiatives are understanding how customers purchase promos, how they are affected by several lockdowns due to pandemic, how digital they have become with staying at home most of the time. There are also customer segmentation studies that need to be done in relation to understanding how customer behaviors change over time.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Mapping
1.Coordinate with Data Build Team on business requirements
mapping on new and change requirements (new product SKUs,
new data ingest related to studies requested
2.Ensure new data ingest is usable for In-depth Customer Analytics
requirements
In-depth Customer Data Analytics & Storytelling
1. Work with Brands (Mainstream), CLM and CMS teams to frame
the right business questions to understand state of business &
customers - answerable via Analytics.
2. Enable deep and holistic understanding of the customer via
profiling – demographic, geographic, behavioral, psychographic
3. Cohort analyses, pre & post – to answer adhoc business
questions / post mortem for all commercial CFUs (Mobile,
Broadband, SG / EG), channels & enabling units (ie CLM, CMS)
4. Leverage and integrate both internal and external data to provide
holistic insights and stories to answer pertinent business
questions.
5. Apply data mining techniques to enable understanding of target
market profile for commercial business initiatives.
Business User / Stakeholder Education
1. Lead user and stakeholder education on the ways to read results
of deep dive customer analytical studies
2. Help Stakeholders turn general business question into much
more targeted, actionable questions for better and correct
analytical framework set up
REQUIREMENTS:
At least 5 years experience in business intelligence or Analytics
Strong knowledge in marketing and track record in
connecting Analytics with business / marketing
applications & use cases
•Proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau, Power
BI, SAS Visual Analytics, Google Data Studio
•Programming expertise on the following languages: SAS,
Visual Basic, Open Sources (Python, R), SQL.
Knowledge in Java a plus.
•Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
•Problem Solving & complexity
•Understanding of end-to-end Data Science / Analytics
