You’ll be someone who is comfortable working pro-actively and, managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with Senior Managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners. You’ll help deliver accurate and transparent reporting to all relevant stakeholders as you provide long term value.
The Data Support and Project Coordinator role sits within the Audit Markets team and will have responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of Markets data across the national audit stream.
The Data Support and Project Coordinator will report to the Audit Markets Senior Manager and will work closely with other key stakeholders in the Audit Markets team. In addition to this they will also have regular communication with nominated individuals in Audit business areas.
They should ensure the accuracy and completeness of national Markets data, in addition to looking to promote best practice, collaboration and consistency across the stream as we strive for the best possible data.
Responsibilities
Monthly reporting cycles
Responsible for monthly collation of active tenders, wins, losses, declined pitches and resignations data using the relevant platforms (CMS, audit tenders database, resignations database) to be reported to internal and external stakeholders.Working with the Audit Markets team to identify anomalies, finalise datasets and create reports to be circulated to the Audit Executive, Leadership Team and external parties.Undertaking regular conversations with nominated individuals in teams to validate data and input missing information. In some instances, effort may be required by the Data Support and Project Coordinator to cleanse the data (ie by liaising with the SSC to get opportunities removed from CMS, amending opportunity details on CMS etc).Regular follow up to ensure action has been taken to improve the quality of the data.Responding to ad hoc requests around any provision of Markets data.Audit tenders
Ongoing maintenance of the audit tenders log in SharePoint, ensuring all new tenders put into the audit tenders platform are noted on this log along with the status (ie pending approval, approved).Ensuring controls in systems are in place ie by chasing approvers where there are outstanding tender approvals.Following up with Partners and Directors to ascertain the status of audit tenders to ensure an accurate list of ongoing active tenders.Audit resignations
Regular review of audit resignations database to identify duplicates and ensure fees inputted correctly (and amending those that aren’t).Compliance
Supporting compliance with all elements of our System of Quality Management by taking ownership of and documenting relevant controls around our audit tenders process and resignations data.Systems
Encouraging best practice use of relevant systems across the stream and keeping abreast of key developments.Ensuring Power BI dashboards are kept up to date and aligned to any system changes.Supporting the Audit Markets team in driving continuous improvement, particularly in relation to the use of CMS and other sources of data as well as output of management information.Liaising with other Audit Executive project teams on relevant initiatives, providing support and ensuring consistency of data.Administrative support
Providing administrative support across a variety of Audit Markets team projects, eg:Scheduling meetingsTaking minutes and actionsCreating slide decks.Projects
Supporting members of the Audit Markets team with ad hoc projects (ie the introduction of a new system or tool).Liaising with other Audit Executive project teams on relevant initiatives, providing support and ensuring consistency of data.Requirements
