Implements standardized data management procedures and processes with a high degree of quality and within timelines. The data manager will assist the CRC with management of study data GUI , communication platforms, running scripts, data quality and monitoring, uploading data to Department of Health portals, release participant results electronically, EMR extraction, and data analysis. The data manager will be one of the site representatives for study data integration and statistics team. This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements. Office Location: 250 S 200 E Salt Lake City, UT **Responsibilities** **Essential Functions** + Assist the CRC with study data GUI , data analysis, and data management tasks including but not limited to the following: + Department of Health reporting + EMR data extraction + Data analysis + Test and review data validation checks + Issue and resolve data queries + Review data listings and identify discrepancies based on current review specifications + Prepare and review reports. + Communicate with internal and external study personnel regarding data queries. + Serve as site representative for study data integration and statistics team. + Create data management documents as directed. + Assist the CRC with other study related activities. Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead. **Minimum Qualifications** Must be proficient in desktop office applications, and possess the ability to learn new software applications and skills in a dynamic work environment. Must be organized and detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description. **Preferences** Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences, statistics, computer science, or a related field. A Master of Science degree in Data Science and Computation or related field. Clinical data management and/or clinical research experience. Knowledge of SAS and STATA statistical software programs software.
