Data Transformation Analyst I
About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 08 The Team: The Price and Specification Team is a dynamic group of currently six dedicated professionals responsible for researching and analyzing prices and specifications from Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) websites for various car models around the world. Our team's primary goal is to ensure accurate and up-to-date data is captured in our systems, which is vital for our overall data integrity and analysis. Responsibilities and Impact: Conduct thorough research on car prices and specifications from OEM websites. Capture and input data accurately into our internal systems. Collaborate with team members to ensure data consistency and quality. Stay updated on industry trends, particularly in automotive technology and pricing. We are looking for an Automotive Data Researcher to: Perform ongoing internet-based research on current and future model releases Aggregate relevant vehicle updates & releases from various sources such as brand websites, press & marketing materials, authorities information. Capture automotive prices and specifications based on S&P Global standards and classifications. Maintain data quality in terms of accuracy, timeliness, and completeness in line with relevant business guidelines Integrate automotive price and specification data with additional data repositories such as vehicle registrations actuals and forecasts Support corresponding teams such as sales, product management and customer service for customer inquiries and product development Basic Required Qualifications: 2 years of secondary research experience, preferably in automotive sector Strong passion for and understanding of the automotive industry Extensive mechanical / technical knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Strong focus on data accuracy and detail. English language proficiency is essential; additional languages are a plus. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities. Adaptability and willingness to learn about new technologies, including AI. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
