JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine the data requirements, and design/develop data visualization deliverables. Develop, and maintain reports, dashboards and visualizations to effectively  communicate data driven insights to users for a variety of audiences e.g. visualization solutions of data into reports and graphics to illustrate facts, trends, and insights. Work with business users and analysts to help identify data trends, and patterns within large, complex data sets. Prototype and develop advanced data-driven visualization components and interfaces that can be easily consumed by internal users as well as external customers and injured workers Research modern visualization and data access tools, evaluate fit for needs of the organization, facilitate, promote adoption among self service business users. Support User Acceptance Testing by addressing any technical queries or fixing the bug.

QUALIFICATIONS:

5 years of previous experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or business analyst. Azure, Synapse, PowerBI (Microsoft) technology and infrastructure experience. Strong SQL skills, and ability to identify issues with data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering valuable data-driven insights. Experience in data management disciplines including data integration, modeling, optimization and data quality, and/or other areas directly relevant to data engineering responsibilities and tasks. Experience with machine learning, with statistical modeling, time-series forecasting and/or geospatial analytics is preferred. Recommend, develop and implement best practices for reporting, analytics, and generation of key metrics needed to report on the productivity and business performance.
