Your Role:

Pre-Development :

Connect with Business Stakeholders across the globe from different functions, gather user stories on the project, Understand their functional requirements, translate it into Technical requirements - systems/Tools/Applications involved, applicable /Suitable Technology.

Work closely with Business Analyst / POC in creation/understanding the URS, estimate Technical requirements, Complete effort estimation on a project on Development, UAT, Deployment, Go-Live, Post Go-Live support.

Solutioning : Feasibility study on URS, work arounds involved, requirement on 3rd party tools or apps, Dependancies, Critical success factors on sustainable solution, assessment of potential risks & challenges 

Development :

Data model : Create & maintain a data model by compiling/integrating/interfacing data from various data sources/applications and enrich the data through external inputs from end-users.

Define & Design visualization - Create Charts, Reports, Graphs, animations as per Merck Reporting standards in visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview in a end-user friendly way.

Demo it to Business stakeholders, gather feedback on improvements, incorporate/iterate the visualization to the satisfaction of stakeholders

Perform Unit Testing on Dashboards developed for accuracy, Scalability, Stress-testing.

Share best practices from expertise, other models already deployed to business stakeholders showcasing the relevent ideas/models.

Post-Development

Work closely with specific user group for UAT, trouble shoot for any bugs/errors, make the model robust, address performance issues in mass data, fix lags/performance issues, improve scalability and ensure the model pass UAT.

Define access request process, Collect & provide access to the end-user after carefully applying the define user groups, security layers.

Prepare Tech specification document, End User manual (Functional specification document) with all facts & data. 

Conduct enablement/Training sessions for end-user groups, address their Queries and upload the training documents (Videos, User manuals)

Production Deployment - ensure Sucessful Go-Live in production environment

Post Go-Live

Handle all Post Go Live queries, issues, challenges and ensure smooth sucess of the solution

Monitor,Track & report statistics on Usage/utilization of Dashboards by measuring the # of access, users. Highlight under-utilized to the stakeholder group.

Maintenance & Support :

Ensure & Monitor all interfaces to the data model

Fix techical issues identified

Continuously improve the performance of the dashboard 

Be part of Change control Board and Upgrade/improve the content by incorporating the regular feedback from user group

Implement the changes approved in Dashboards
