You Are:

The Data Warehouse Developer position plays a key role in the development of Carelon DWH platform.  This platform powers our specialty care management solutions which support both our health plan partners and the members they cover. The developer will be part of a high-performance Data warehousing team and will be focused on comprehensively creating and improving existing data warehouse processes and improving data quality and data integrity throughout the organization.

 

The opportunity:

·       Data Warehouse Developer with a strong understanding of Data Warehousing / ETL strategy and best practices as well as the ability to develop packages using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, Git, SQL.

·       Design and develop SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views and triggers to be used during the ETL process.

·       Builds data transformations with SSIS, ADF including importing data from files, moving data from one database platform to another.

·       Designing and developing ETL solutions to acquire and prepare data from numerous upstream systems.

·       Debug and tune ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient movement of data.

·       Design, implement and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes,) and database security.

·       Test and prepare ETL processes for deployment to production and non-production environments.

·       Building Dimensional Modeling for Data Warehouse.

·       Off-hour on-call production support

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Minimum of 6 years of experience with expert knowledge in Azure Data Factory and SSIS. Azure DevOps experience preferred.

·       Expert level T-SQL experience. 

·       Production support and troubleshooting experience.

·       Must be very good in SQL, Performance Tuning, Stored Procedures and functions.

·       The candidate must have the ability to independently walk through and understand existing ETL pipelines.

·       A solid understanding of data management best-practices and in-depth experience with Microsoft SSIS/ADF

·       Experience working with Addon tools for quick integration like Zappysys (preferred)

·       Healthcare experience preferred

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location:   Remote

Compensation Range:   $95,000-$143,750

 

 

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
