Responsible for supporting specific functional / business areas in terms of information system needsDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• Plan and implement data platform resources
• Implement a secure data environment
• Monitor, configure, and optimize database resources
• Configure and manage automation of data related tasks
• Develop, update and maintain processes and procedures relating to databases
• Collaborate with internal and external customers for maintenance and development of existing and new solutions.
• Respond effectively to high priority issues and incidents when needed
• Train and mentor internal team members
• Participate in data governance strategies and initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or any related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as database administrator is required
• Microsoft Certified - Azure Database Administrator Associate/Azure Data Fundamentals/or any of its equivalent is required
• Extensive experience in database structure analysis, SQL scripting, stored procedures and functions.
• Can document data requirements and translate it into technical solutions
• Can translate technical terms and requirements into layman terms
• Healthcare industry background is a plus
