Job Description
Provide combatant and joint force commanders with subject matter expertise on planning and conducting NAVWAR by providing knowledge of friendly and enemy NAVWAR order of battle and PNT-related successes and threats. Offer database support to all functions of JNWC. Develop protocols for data processing and handling in compliance with customer standards. Analyze database systems during the planning, design, evaluation, and execution of JNWC functions. Monitor databases to ensure optimal storage and usability. Develop data management architecture, software plans, documentation, and configuration management plans. Understand cross-domain solutions as it applies to database management and data integrity. Experience developing and maintaining classified databases within the DoD or intel community.
ResponsibilitiesProvide subject matter expertise on planning and conducting NAVWAR.Deliver knowledge of friendly and enemy NAVWAR order of battle and PNT-related successes and threats.Support all functions of database expertise.Develop protocols for data processing and handling in compliance with customer standards.Analyze database systems during planning, design, evaluation, and execution phases.Monitor databases to ensure optimal storage and usability.Develop data management architecture, software plans, documentation, and configuration management plans.Understand and apply cross-domain solutions to database management and data integrity.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.3+ years of relevant, classified database administration experience.Current DoD issued security clearance.Relevant certification such as IBM Certified Database Administrator – DB2, MS SQL Server database certification, Oracle Certified Professional, MySQL Database Administrator, or industry equivalent.Knowledge of DoD security regulations, policy, and procedures.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with data management.Knowledge of cross-domain solutions.Proficiency in developing software plans and configuration management software.Work Environment
