Job Title: Mid-level Database Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator with strong experience in SQL Server and PostgreSQL administration. The ideal candidate will hold an active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI, and possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field with at least 5 years of work experience. Candidates with 8 years of work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. The role requires Information Assurance (IA) training and certification per the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, IAW the most current DoDM 8140.03.

ResponsibilitiesCoordinate changes to computer databases.Identify, investigate, and resolve database performance issues, database capacity, and database scalability.Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.Create hardware lists, software lists, network diagrams, network data flow diagrams, SOPs, and other required documentation.Essential SkillsActive Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI.Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field and 5 years of work experience, or 8 years of work experience in lieu of a degree.Information Assurance (IA) training and certification per the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement; IAW most current DoDM 8140.03.Experience in SQL Server and PostgreSQL administration.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.Ability to administer, test, and implement computer databases.

Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of Oracle preferred.Experience with MongoDB and cloud platforms.Ability to create and maintain various technical documentation.Work Environment

The ARAT program operates on-site in a cleared lab at APG off Combat Drive (Bld 6006). This role, being IT-focused, may allow some hybrid flexibility as needed, but the candidate must also be able to work on-site as required. The company has recently secured a new 5-year award for the ARAT program and is well-established with their Army customer. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00
