Job Description: Database Administrator
Location: Huntsville, AL or Chantilly, VA
Position Type: Full-Time
Security Clearance: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
Responsibilities:
+ Design, implement, and maintain moderately complex databases.
+ Maintain database dictionaries and integration of systems through database design.
+ Administer and test computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
+ Coordinate changes to computer databases.
+ Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in database administration or a related field.
+ Top Secret security clearance with SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) eligibility.
+ Bachelor's Degree
Skills & Competencies:
+ Strong knowledge of database management systems.
+ Proficiency in designing and implementing databases.
+ Experience with database administration and testing.
+ Ability to coordinate changes to computer databases.
+ Knowledge of security measures and best practices for safeguarding computer databases.
+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
