We are currently seeking a Database Analyst to join our team. In this role you will be a change agent by working on the TFM2 contract. TFM2 provides modernization and life cycle support of Information Technology infrastructure that host national implementation of the FAA's Traffic Flow Management (TFM) functionality. It also focuses on long term engineering services and the development of new functional enhancements that increase the capability of Traffic Flow Management.
HOW A DATABASE ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirementsDatabase creationSet database parameters or specificationsDatabase design, migration, performance monitoringPerform capacity planning, installation, configurationMonitor and maintain database storage, database health and performanceSupport basic IT issues such as password resets, peripheral configurations, hardware diagnostics, and coordinate repairsPerform hardware buildouts Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media and media is recycledRepair and recover from hardware or software failures and communicate with impacted constituenciesManage backup and recovery processes including replication for failover environments and disaster recoveryAssists in configuring networking services and protocolsInstallation and configuration of Oracle databases, patches and associated productsBasic monitoring and tuning - troubleshoot potential database performance bottlenecks and find solutionsDatabase security - administer and recommend mitigationCreate job as and or stored procedures using command of SQL, PL/SQL & GUIsWrite raw SQL to interact with databasesOther duties as requiredWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
