Qualified candidates must have five + years of SQL Server DBA experience, expert level. Experience with SQL scripting, stored procedures, triggers, functions and transactions analysis with thorough understanding of indices and statistics Experience with Microsoft replication is required. Experience with Microsoft SQL server Clustering a big plus .Highly proficient in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 & 2005 administration and operations. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 & 2005 reporting services. Working knowledge of windows server operating systems, network's connectivity and inoperability of multi-platform environments. Strong optimization, database sizing, capacity planning, back up & recovery skills Experience with SQL tuning and performance monitoring. Able to create and maintain DTS & SSIS packages for transforming data from various other sources to SQL. Other required skills include verbal and written communication, time management, organizational and interpersonal, and teamwork. Proven production support background of application databases in a 24x7 environment.
