Track and manage compliance deadlines, ensuring all required documentation is accurately submitted and properly filed in a timely manner. Manage communications with regulatory institutions. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion and response to all regulatory requests and requirements. Maintain and oversee the asset management system, including importing manufacturer equipment data and reconciling asset states across multiple systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel required for regular data analysis and management tasks. **Experience and Skills** Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and compliance requirements simultaneously. Experience with data management and validation, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with vendors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams. Problem-solving ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies between systems. Strong documentation skills and ability to maintain accurate, detailed records. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Adaptability to learn and work with various software systems and databases. Demonstrated ability to follow established processes while identifying opportunities for improvement. A methodical approach to tracking and following up on outstanding items and deadlines. **JOB DESCRIPTION** **Salary Grade: G06** **Minimum Midpoint Maximum** **$74,796 - $100,975 - $127,152** Personnel in this job title may be covered by NERC CIP cyber security standards. If the position is covered, prior to being hired, promoted, or transferred into the position, the candidate must successfully pass a Personnel Risk Assessment, which includes identity verification and a criminal background check. Prior to being granted unescorted access to cyber secure areas, the candidate must attend cyber security training. Annual cyber security training is also required. **SUMMARY:** Under general supervision, coordinates physical changes to computer databases; and codes, tests, and implements physical databases. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** Designs logical and physical databases or reviews description of changes to the database design to understand how changes to be made will affect the physical database. Establishes physical database parameters. Codes database descriptions and specifies identifiers of database-to-database management system or directs others in coding database descriptions. Calculates optimum values for database parameters such as amount of computer memory to be used by database. Specifies user access level for each segment of one or more data items such as insert, replace, retrieve, or delete data. Specifies which users can access databases and what data users can access. Tests and corrects errors, and refines changes to database. Enters codes to create production database. Selects and enters codes of utility program to monitor database performance such as distribution of records and amount of available memory. Directs programmers and analysts to make changes to database management system. Reviews and corrects programs, trains users, and answers user questions. Confers with co-workers to determine impact of database changes on other systems and staff cost for making changes to database. Modifies database programs to increase processing performance, referred to as performance tuning. **COMPETENCIES:** Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information, collect and research data, and design workflows and procedures. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully, develop alternative solutions, and work well in-group problem solving situations. Demonstrates attention to detail. **QUALIFICATIONS** **MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:** Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with five to six years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience related to the discipline. **COMMUNICATION SKILLS:** Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. **ANALYSIS AND PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY:** Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. **COMPUTER SKILLS:** Working knowledge of MS Access database software. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand and walk up to 1/3 of the time and regularly required to sit up to 2/3 of the time and talk and listen for long periods of time. Manual dexterity and the ability to reach is required to perform computer applications and good vision is required to perform all aspects of the job. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
