Essential experience & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain the enterprises database systems. Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements. Perform technology Assessments, evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to make recommendations for technology adoption or retirement Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including diagrams, models, and technical specifications. Implement solutions that meet the needs and requirements of stakeholders. Design and architect database HA and DR solutions Experience with comparing and recommending the right database systems. Ensure the security and performance of the DB2 database systems. Stay up to date on the latest database technologies. Train and mentor other database professionals. Experience with database technologies. Experience with big data technologies. Experience with data warehousing and analytics. Experience with data security and compliance.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in database design, development, and maintenance. Experience in Linux and IBM DB2 is mandatory Experience with a variety of database technologies, such as Linux DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
