Short Description: Looking for Database Engineer

Location: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane - Australia

Salary Range : AUD 108,571- 119,893 (Annual Gross)

Roles and Responsibilities:
Database Engineer provides technical expertise to manage both cloud and on-premises SQL databases and Oracle databases. This role ensures that the databases run efficiently and securely and will be involved in maintaining mission-critical database, providing on-call support and as well as in troubleshooting any production issues. This role will be tasked with enforcing client’s security policy and maintaining database procedures:

Skill / Competencies / Experience:

ESSENTIAL5-8 years relevant expertiseSQL, Oracle à both on-prem and CloudOracle to Exadata Migrations, New SQL DB spin up in existing SQL clusters, Create and maintain new Oracle DBs, Azure PaaS for SQL no IaaSTertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
PREFERREDStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.Highly motivated self-driven with a positive attitude.
ADDITIONAL Excellent customer facing skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
