Zeta counts amongst its customers over 10 banks and 25 fintechs across 8 countries - some of our notable clients include Sodexo - a leading issuer of employee benefits & rewards with over 30 million global users, and HDFC Bank - the 14th largest bank by market cap in the world..What would you do here?Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud-based database systems on Amazon RDSSet up and configure monitoring and alerting tools to continuously monitor the health, performance, and availability of cloud to alerts and incidents, working to minimize downtime and performance and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure as code (IAC) templates (e.g., using Terraform) to automate routine database tasks, deployments, and in on-call rotations to respond to database-related incidents and perform troubleshooting and root cause in implementing and maintaining security best practices for cloud databases, including access controls, encryption, and compliance with regulatory audit and assess database security and manage database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability in case of failures or data database query performance and collaborate with developers to optimize SQL queries and in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud in the design and optimization of database schemas for cloud environments.What are we looking for?Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related in managing and administering PostgreSQL database systems in Amazon RDSStrong SQL skills for writing and optimizing database with AWS platform and Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools for DB systems (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana,) is to write scripts (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and infrastructure as code (IAC) for provisioning and managing cloud of database security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).Having ‘AWS Certified Database - Specialty' certification is a plusAt Zeta, we want you to grow to be the best version of yourself by unlocking the great potential that lies within you.
