Data Scientist

Summary of activities the resource will perform:

Formulate and lead guided, multifaceted analytic studies against the available data.Interpret and analyze data using exploratory mathematics and statistical techniques based on the scientific method.Find patterns and trends in datasets to uncover insights.Coordinates research and analytic activities utilizing various data points (unstructured and structured) and employs programming to clean, massage, and organize the data.Experiment against data points, provide information based on experiment results and provide previously undiscovered solutions to command data challenges.Work closely with all stakeholders to develop strategy for long term data platform architecture. Required Skills and Abilities:

Experience in Statistical Analysis, SQL scripting, NoSQL, In-memory DatabasesETL, Data Integration, Ingestion and AnalysisAI/Machine LearningData Modeling & Database Design Experience in AWS Data Migration Tools and services Experience in on prem to Cloud Migration Strong background working with customers/large organizationsAbility to effectively manage multiple competing priorities at any given time.Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs.Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present to business leaders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and part of a teamExperience in AWS Data Migration Tools and services SageMaker, Glue, Redshift, DynamoDB, Textract and KinesisExperience in on prem to Cloud Migration Knowledge of Agile methodology

The likely salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
