US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting-edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team.
This highly motivated person should have an advanced technical background and understanding of operations to support the fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for optimizing operations and delivering real-time communications as the focal point for enterprise datacenter activities.
Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or tasks in an enterprise level environment. The position is typically responsible for managing multiple tasks in a C2 Operational environment. Attention to detail, accuracy, planning, organizing, training, and training development, as well as prioritizing, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, are a must.
Responsibilities:
Provides focal-point technical, administrative, and operational management of service center activitiesGuides operational oversight for project plans, proposals, reports, and task order service availability and administrative reporting requirements.Coordinates logistics and auditing for datacenter equipment, installation support, and deployment activitiesUnderstands basic networking, COMSEC, and deployment requirements for a DoD program.Executes an enterprise-wide CERP and lifecycle management of enterprise equipment.Ability to rapidly respond to unique operational tasks, urgent requirements and work with teammates to troubleshoot and provide technical or process solutions.Manages and understands Service Now workflows and report generationsProduct Owner for operational improvement initiatives and governance activitiesConducts contingency planning, training, and exercises, and provides recommendations to client on task prioritization and workload during emergency and contingency actions.Attends customer-directed meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.Provide oversight of daily operations briefing and recommendations to client on baseline reporting improvements for data and metrics collection and presentation.Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client for assigned projects and escalated incidents.Develops, documents, implements, and reviews technical training and supporting operational procedures and processes for all assigned position task sets, providing oversight of robust onboarding training process.Participates in special projects as required.Required Qualifications:
Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.BA/BS degree – may substitute additional years of experience.6 years of IT-related experience in support of IT network operations, network operations command & control (C2), and communications. At least 3 years of experience managing or leading network and teams C2 operations at a NOC or in a major Department of Defense (DoD) or Intel Community (IC) network computing or communications program. At least 3 years of supervisory experienceService Now Fulfiller and Report experienceExperience managing and leading cross-functional teams.ITIL V4 CertificationDemonstrable administrative and organizational skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work on-site 100%Preferred Qualifications:
Cisco CCNAThe likely salary range for this position is $92,331 - $121,325. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
