Within CO+I, the strategic Supply Chain team is responsible for establishing a supply chain that can meet the ever-growing growth of the Cloud and our customers. We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-billion, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. Furthermore, we support the Operations team that manages and runs the cloud assets.
We are looking to fill a critical role of **Datacenter Market Intelligence Analyst** to lead market intelligence and analysis of GC construction services in support of our build program across the AMER region.

+ **This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA; Washington, D.C.; Redmond, WA; San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ.**
+ **Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location.**
**Responsibilities**
+ Applies in-depth knowledge of the AMER datacenter general contracting and construction market intelligence to proactively identify and address business concerns. Establishes themselves as an expert in data types and sources relevant to business needs, and shares expertise to guide others. Applies expertise to determine optimal analytical tools and techniques, interpret results within a business context, and address business questions with actionable insights and recommendations.
+ Develops presentations of analyses, including dashboards, reports, data visualizations, self-service platforms, slides, and talking points that synthesize insights to inform senior stakeholders' decision making and drive business outcomes. Drives the implementation of methods that create efficiency in core work related to analytics and reporting that are reusable, readily discoverable, and directed to meaningful interpretation of data that drive business decisions and impact across teams.
+ Reinforces a positive environment by learning and adopting best practices. Maintains or develops ties with external network. Assists with documentation for senior team members as requested. Understands and follows ethics and privacy policies when executing research processes and/or collecting data/information.
+ Establishes themselves as an expert in market and leverages data relevant to business needs. Evaluates sufficiency of data for answering business questions between internal and external sources, and works to identify, anticipate, and address gaps and data quality issues with data providers; drives action to source additional data as needed, and leverages relevant frameworks from other teams. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to build needed data pipelines or integrations to address business needs.
+ Drives the implementation of methods that create efficiency in core work related to analytics and reporting that are reusable, readily discoverable, self-service, and directed to meaningful interpretation of data that drive business decisions and impact across teams. Determines and socializes optimal and innovative methods for standardizing, sharing, and scaling insights. Evaluates the viability of implementing automation for patterns of ad hoc analyses or reporting into standard practices, and shares thought leadership to develop and implement automated methods for use in data collection and analysis that are most relevant to addressing business needs.
+ Develops and guides others' work on presentations of analyses, including dashboards, reports, data visualizations, self-service platforms, slides, and talking points that synthesize insights into a story that influences senior stakeholders' decision making and drives business outcomes. Actively supports efforts to improve efficiency of reporting and presentations, and guides others to ensure presented results are accessible, provide information accurately, clearly, and appropriately in a relevant and timely manner to influence decision making for intended audience(s).
+ Applies in-depth knowledge of the market to proactively identify and address business concerns. Takes measures to determine scope and impact to develop appropriate solutions. Builds and leverages connections within the market and builds library of market intelligence.
**Qualifications**
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 9+ years experience (including internships) in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations
+ OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 7+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations
+ OR equivalent experience

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
+ Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 11+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations
+ OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 9+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or Operations
+ OR equivalent experience
+ 10+ years post graduate experience in construction supply chain and/or construction procurement specifically with large, complex capital projects.
+ Commercial understanding and experience of driving and developing key contractual components of categories (General Contractor, Civil Works Contracting, Architect / Engineer, Commissioning, Project Management, Cost Management and other construction services suppliers).
+ Knowledge of Datacenter industry preferable and/or mission critical experience and experience managing a variety of project delivery methods – ability to collaborate with a project team in defining risk and developing the appropriate contracting and compensation approaches.
+ Ability to work independently and within a matrixed environment; a self-starter and quick learner of Microsoft systems and processes.
+ Experienced in the set up and management of category management plans to capture the long term business strategies for the General Contractor and Associated Sub-Categories. Strong analytical and presentation skills to succinctly report status in the achievement of OKR’s.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills for executive communication; ability to articulate points of view with executive management and stakeholders.
+ Ability to implement new processes and get buy in from a cross functional team.
+ High integrity – must be ethical and strong value based individual focused on fairness and maintaining confidentiality.
+ Be a high performer – be able to fit the Microsoft “culture” by effectively multi-tasking and managing priorities; have a “sense of urgency” regarding issue resolution.
+ Understand the importance of relationships inside the company and with our supply chain partners.
Sourcing and Category Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $299,400 per year.
