This is an exciting opportunity to join our Can Making Plant in Rocklea , Queensland .Reporting into the Mechanical Supervisor and working 6am – 2:30pm Monday to Friday the  Day Fitter responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

 

On-going maintenance of machinery, equipment and services, to assist in meeting or exceeding site objectives (Production, Quality, Spoilage). Actively pursuing mechanical maintenance improvements to achieve production targets and improve plant uptime. Safety: Demonstrates an exemplary safety ethic – Leading by example and setting standards for the health, safety and wellbeing. Quality: Drive a high-quality culture and standard.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Mechanical Trade Certificate with Advanced Certificate preferred. 3+ years mechanical maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment   Proactive attitude and willingness to learn. Team player with excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills Be able to meet requirements of Orora’s pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing What we Offer
