SUMMARY The Day Program Manager oversees the daily operations of a day program, physical location, and job sites, ensuring the implementation of activities and behavioral programs that promote community integration and job performance per each individual’s Program Plan. They also manage a satellite site according to Marrakech, Inc.'s policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Management and Supervisory + Lead the Interdisciplinary Team in achieving supported employment, community integration, and individual program goals. + Develop, coordinate, and supervise programs and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities in community-based settings. + Coordinate additional services for individuals with the appropriate primary providers. + Manage recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of staff to maintain program quality. + Ensure new staff are oriented to the site, attend meetings, and complete required in-service training. + Serve as a liaison with families, residences, professionals, and team members to meet program goals. + Schedule staff, programs, events, and activities to meet individual goals. + Ensure staff have the necessary credentials and certifications (e.g., PMT, CPR, First Aid). + Provide direct services to program participants as needed. + Oversee the maintenance of the program center and vehicles to ensure safety and well-being. + Write quarterly and annual reports and attend team meetings. + Maintain effective communication between day service and residential staff. + Manage staff schedules, ensuring coverage and avoiding overtime. + Approve any overtime hours in advance. + Ensure all required in-services, training, and evaluations are completed in a timely manner. + Coordinate resources to ensure programs run smoothly. Program and Other Duties + Assist in the referral process to assess the needs of individuals and develop service plans. + Lead staff meetings and in-service training sessions. + Drive motor vehicles safely, as required, for work-related duties. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE + A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Special Education, or a related field is preferred, or a high school diploma/GED with four years of relevant experience. + Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health issues, or other disabilities in community-based programs is essential. SALARY + $19.91/hr rate increases to $20.37/hr after 6 months.
