Available Position:
Location: Urbandale, IAFull-time; 40 hours per weekMonday-Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pmWage: Based on experienceAs a Day Services Manager, you will supervise, coordinate and evaluate day service programs and and staff. You will oversee the day-to-day operation of the program including delivery of supports, implementation of person-centered plans, health care, advocacy, customer engagement, and regulatory compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
· Supervise, evaluate, and coordinate activities of subordinates
· Maintain and complete accurate billing
· Interview, hire, supervise and terminate subordinate staff
· Lead subordinates to ensure quality of programs and effective use of resources.
· Evaluate subordinate job performance and conformance to regulations and recommend appropriate personnel action
· Contact regular and prospective sources to solicit referrals
· Meet with potential referrals and their stakeholders to explain services and their benefits
· Oversee implementation of plans developed by and with the interdisciplinary teams and other professionals
· Advise consumers to understand and overcome personal and social struggles
· Submits and reviews reports with supervisors
· Maintain accurate and complete client file information and case records
· Collect and evaluate information about consumers’ abilities, interests and personality characteristics using records, tests and interviews
· Provide information on and refer individuals to public or private agencies and community services for assistance.
· Investigate and resolve consumer and stakeholder complaints
· Write or supervise writing of reports on consumers’ progress in services
· Confer and consult with individuals, groups, and committees to determine needs
· Implement and extend organization's programs and services as needed
· Speak to community groups promoting agency purpose and programs
· Verify completeness and accuracy of subordinates' work, computations, and records
· Attend Individual Support Plan (ISP) and/or Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings as required
· Maintain compliance with licensing standards

Must be at least 19 years of ageHigh School or equivalent diplomaTwo years’ experience performing similar functions or an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university· Knowledge of Microsoft Office software· Medication Manager/Aide, CPR/AED/First Aid, Mandatory Reporter, and The Mandt System® certification (must be obtained within a 90-day period from date of hire)Satisfactory driving record (no more than three moving violations in the most recent 36-month period)Valid driver’s license appropriate for vehicle type being required to operate and maintain· Access to reliable personal transportation for job performance as may be occasionally required.
