Regions Hospital is seeking an individual with medical administrative experience and strong verbal and written communication skills to join our Daybridge Partial Hospitalization program in a Coordinator position.
The purposes of this position are: to provide program reception, client program scheduling, referral administration/information, registration, medical record and other administrative support services to designated area; and to perform related duties as assigned. This role is a resource for clients, program staff and providers regarding insurance coverage and benefits, referral/authorization requirements, coordination of benefits and preferred provider/care networks. Must possess a high degree of public contact skills with adult clients.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30pm
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Meets one of the following: Graduate of a formal training program in medical reception, an equivalent program, or a customer service program Two years experience as a medical receptionist Two years experience in a customer service position Two years experience in medical insurance or patient billing Preferred experience with Epic registration and scheduling Preferred experience with medical insurance and prior authorizationBenefits:
