Position Summary:

The person is position will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment of the daycare facility

 

Essential Job Functions:

Clean classrooms Sanitize toys and play equipment organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas Observe and monitor children's play activities Perform housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, dish washing, changing of linens and cleaning duties related to children's care Assist in preparing food and serving meals and refreshments to children participate in recreational activities and outings, such as games and field trips Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas Maintain a safe play environment Remove hazards to create a safe environment for children Model appropriate social behaviors and encourage concern for others to cultivate development of interpersonal relationships and communication skills Keep records of play and meal schedules  Understands HIPAA, Professional Ethics, Consumer Rights and Confidentiality  Participate in performance improvement activities  Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation Perform any other duties as assigned
