Join our team as a Daycare Teacher , where you’ll collaborate with a dynamic Early Childhood Special Educati on team to design and implement play-based instruction for children, fostering growth, learning, and positive self-esteem. This opportunity is within a n inclusive special education classroom , ensuring each child gets the attention they deserve. Position Details: + Full-time:40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, following our daycare calendar. + Competitive rate of pay:$17.50 per hour. + Racker offers benefits including tuition assistance, health insurance, and a 20% discount on childcare services for children and grandchildren of full-time staff. Responsibilities + Co-teach and co-plan under the lead of the Special Education Teacher and in collaboration with other Daycare Teachers using assigned curriculum . + Provide high quality care and instruction to all students through fun age and developmentally appropriate activities. + Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. + Actively participate in team meetings, sharing educational insights and problem-solving collaboratively. + Maintain open communication with families, keeping them informed and supported. + Collaborate with the team to utilize diverse techniques and perspectives in program design. + Keep accurate records of children’s progress and attendance, and prepare reports for parent conferences. + Attend required training sessions, ensuring compliance with OCFS regulations and program requirements. + And other duties as assigned. + Bring your creativity, energy, and passion! Qualifications Education (one of the following): + Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, or related field OR + Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) and 1 year related experience,OR + 9 College credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field with a plan of study to get to CDA or Associate Degree and 2 years of experience related to caring for children. Physical Capability + Ability to physically assist children to participate in the program; ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds; ability to engage in repetitive movements such as sitting/kneeling on floor, bending and stooping; ability to move quickly to attend to a running child.
