The Role

The Team Leader is responsible for developing and leading a self-managed team and responsible for machinery maintenance and the can-making process. Also foster a culture of continuous improvement.at the Canning Vale Can Manufacturing site.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Ensure unwavering commitment to creating and maintaining a safe working environment. Effectively coordinate personnel to optimize performance. Drive productivity and profitability across operations. Communicate with the team in a clear and business-focused manner. Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee and manage preventative maintenance activities. Conduct troubleshooting and in-depth problem analysis. Support and sustain the preventive maintenance system. Maintain industrial harmony and foster a collaborative work environment.

 

 

 

What We’re Looking For

 

Communication: Written, oral and team leadership skills Metrology: Full application of quality measuring equipment Statistical process control: Understand and maintain visual SPC Engineering: Must hold a current Mechanical Trade Certificate Problem solving: Has the ability to lead a team in disciplined problem solving
