Job Summary
Responsible for achieving overall sales results, developing and holding associates accountable for their performance, streamlining the sales enablement structure and programs, and driving productivity, profitability, and customer engagement.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Creating and delivering sales resources, including content, tools, and coaching, to effectively engage buyers and sell products and services.
Collaborate with sales leaders to create and implement sales strategies aimed at capturing the best growth opportunities.
Enhance the implementation and adoption of sales enablement programs throughout the organization while maintaining a strategic connection with other department executives.
Align the sales strategy to larger organizational strategies and goals.
Supervise the engagement process, promote organizational alignment, and enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Boost sales productivity by implementing innovative, long-term solutions that drive client retention and growth while maximizing return on investment.
Nature and Scope
Problems are complex and difficult. Solutions require complicated, extensive analysis and detailed investigation.
Sets or changes the operational plans/goals of an area/business.
Leads major business processes or support functions to execute company strategies.
Work Environment
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 10+ years of experience in a related field, including several years in a management role having significant business impact.
