The DB Admin Job Role supports the realization of IT solutions in test environment by providing specialized technical expertise on systems, platforms, databases, networks and security in ADM Projects.

What You Will Do

 

As a technology expert, the DB Admin, works with the customer, driving the technical architecture definition.Defining the full technical infrastructural environment of an IT solution.Responsible for understanding and implementing business rules and requirements of the customer database in recurrent business where the demands and the specifications are well defined testing projects. This role will be responsible for the incident ticket handling within the given SLA resolution times.Strong experience for the data migration, refresh, export/import procedures.Experience in Linux/Unix.

You will bring 

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or related field.4+ years of Oracle Database administration experience.Oracle Certified Professional is a plus.Daily operational tasks in Oracle DB such as migration, refresh, export/import, patching, fresh installation.Experience in High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server is a plus,Knowledge in MSSQL Always on / windows clustering is a plusSolid understanding in TCP/IP networking technologiesExperience in no-sql database systems is a plusStrong experience in high availability, backup , security, disaster recoveryStrong written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate effectively with customersProactively create procedures to prevent and reduce the severity of outagesWillingness to be constantly learningAbility to develop and maintain clear and extensive documentation,No military obligation at least in 2 years
