Position Title: DB2 Data Warehouse Support Engineer Key Responsibilities: + Monitor and support DB2 Data Warehouse related ETL jobs in Production environment based on Mainframe. + Identify bottlenecks in ETL processes and implement optimizations to improve performance. + Continuously monitor the ETL jobs to ensure they adhere to SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and recommend improvements. + Provide support for production issues, perform root cause analysis for failed ETL jobs, and ensure timely resolution. + Participate in post-incident reviews to help improve processes and prevent recurring issues. + Provide required documentation/evidence for supporting Internal/External audit. + Identify areas for automation within the ETL pipeline to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency and develop minor enhancements. + Experience with Easytrieve to troubleshoot issue or at least should come up to speed with it in 1-2 months. Qualifications and Skills: + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. + IBM DB2 warehouse experience along with some Mainframe background + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement solutions in ETL processes. + Ability to perform root cause analysis on production issues and take proactive steps to avoid future occurrences. + Hands-on experience with designing, developing, and troubleshooting ETL pipelines. + Strong problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills. + Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. + Strong IBM DB2 + Production Support preferably with DW exp. + ETL + Some Mainframe + Easytrieve (nice to have…will train)
