Job Description Overview

Job Title: DC Athlete I

Reports to: AM Shipping Coach

Overview

Responsible for working in a fast-moving team environment, in which loaded corrugated boxes are processed, palletized and shipped out to Nike customers.

Core Accountabilities

Strict adherence to all Nike safety policies and proceduresReport any unsafe conditions. Take appropriate measures to protect your own safety and that of your colleaguesPalletizing customer cartons to specific conditions and sortation rules (PO, Shipment, LP)Loading and unloading of corrugated boxes onto or from conveyor belts, or palletsLoad/scan corrugate boxes into serialized containersEnsuring and acknowledge quantities match requested customer order levels.Repeated use of reporting tools and Microsoft office to track and report data.Constructing corrugated boxes, and applying shipping labelsUsing RF devices to scan/complete material movements in the systemKeep area tidy and organized.Must be able to interact effectively and work successfully with a diverse group of people on all levels to reach common goals

Other Duties

Must be willing to work with/in other areas as required as well as weekends and overtime as neededLifting between 10lbs – 50lbsStanding for long periods of timeUsing appropriate safe cutting tools for tape and boxesOperation of Pump TruckOperation of pallet wrapping machines.Loading product & pallets on and off trailers.Follow and adhere to departmental and workplace SOP and safety guidelines.
