This position will require the candidate to report and work from our corporate office in Temple, TX or in Carrollton, TX.Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from one of those corporate offices.
Oversee the planning, execution, and management of construction projects related to new construction, expansion of existing buildings, and infrastructure replacement or upgrades. Implement emergency response plans to severe weather damage to facilities and implement best practices for maintenance of building infrastructure.

Develop comprehensive project plans for distribution center and warehouse construction projects, considering scope, budget, timeline, and resources.Coordinate with stakeholders to determine project requirements, specifications, and desired outcomes.Manage relationships and procurement with contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors to support project execution.Oversee the construction process, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.Implement effective project management methodologies to deliver projects on time and within budget.Lead and oversee the planning, design, and construction of new distribution centers and warehouse facilities.Develop strategies and plans for the expansion of existing buildings to accommodate growth and operational needs.Identify opportunities for infrastructure replacement or upgrades to optimize efficiency, productivity, and sustainability.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth integration of construction projects with ongoing operations.Develop and implement emergency response plans for severe weather events that may cause damage to distribution centers and warehouses.Coordinate rapid assessment of facilities, prioritize repairs, and engage appropriate contractors to restore operations quickly.Collaborate with internal teams, insurance providers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and expedite recovery efforts.Establish and enforce best practices for the maintenance of building infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other key systems.Develop preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment lifespan, minimize downtime, and reduce repair costs.Monitor building systems performance, conduct regular inspections, and address maintenance issues promptly.Collaborate with facility management teams to ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and work closely with contractors and vendors.Build and lead a high-performing construction team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure professional development and project success.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the construction team.Other duties may be assigned.Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Four years of experience in construction management may be considered in lieu of degree in specified field.Seven or more years of experience in managing distribution center and warehouse construction projects, including new construction, expansion, and infrastructure replacement or upgrades.Three or more years of project leadership or management experience.Strong knowledge of construction management principles, codes, regulations, and safety standards.Proven experience in emergency response and recovery efforts related to severe weather damage.Sound understanding of building infrastructure maintenance best practices.Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.Strong leadership abilities and experience in managing cross-functional teams and external partners.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Working Conditions:
