**Description** DC General Foreman Division/Department: Pork Location: Marshalltown Job title: DC General Foreman Reports to: Nicole Johnson - DC Manager Salaried Grade: Type of position: Full-time Shift 3rd shift Hours: Exempt INTERNAL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE LESS THAN 3 ATTENDANCE POINT IN ORDER TO APPLY QUALIFICATIONS: + Supervisory skills; good interpersonal relations; ability to handle conflict. + Good verbal and written communication skills + Ability to speak multiple languages beneficial + Must be able to work all 3 shifts RESPONSIBILITIES: + Assist DC Plant Manager in all responsibilities. + Assist in overseeing entire DC production. + Direct supervisors with respect to production volume, quality, cost and meeting production schedules and delivery dates. + Train and develop supervisors to provide management depth and develop team work to attain department objectives. + Review daily production schedule to plan work and personnel assignments. + Monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized. + Maintain good employee relations and adherence to labor contract provisions.
