Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR and reporting support for the distribution center (DC) team members. The work will include supporting managers and team members at all levels within the DC.
Key Roles and Responsibilities Participate in and coordinate the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing applications, conducting screening interviews, schedule/coordinate interviews with hiring manager Manage and coordinate the onboarding of new hires including new hire orientation, benefits overview, I-9 compliance, etc. Ensure that hiring goals are achieved Manage and maintain the integrity of employee data in At Home’s HR systems, including auditing and corrections Provide coaching and training to business partners, to drive manager self service Compile data reports and analyze data as well as report general statistics and insights Respond to inquiries related to policies, performance management, compensation processes, benefits and payroll Manage staffing agencies related to current and future business needs and payment of invoices Participate in employee investigations Collaborate with Home Office HR team to solve complex employee questions regarding benefits, leaves of absence and payroll issues Actively pursue knowledge of DC operations, policies, organizational structure, roles and responsibilities to better understand the business
Qualifications and Competencies Bachelor’s Degree required or relevant experience Prior HR experience a plus Advanced/Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Strong analytical skills Ability to multi-task and manage through competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, administrative and customer service skills Ability to handle extremely sensitive and business confidential information with a high degree of professionalism Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment Flexible and able to work under pressure to include tight deadlines and multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment Strong attention to detail and high sense of urgency Demonstrated ability of leveraging self-initiative to get results Bilingual a plus Ability to work a mid-shift, 10 am to 7 pm
