Camping World is seeking a Distribution Center Lead to join our growing team within the distribution center. This would be leading our Replenishment Team on 2nd Shift.
We have several departments that you are able to cross train with, but you will be assigned to one department. The Camping World Midwest Distribution center operates 24 hours around the clock Shipping, Order Picking, Direct to Consumer, Putaway, Replenishment, Inventory, Receiving and Inbound.
This position is designed to oversee the day-to-day activities of team members within the department and to ensure operations run seamlessly. Job functions are as follows, including but not limited to: conducting labor planning and utilization, implementing goals, communicating metric goals, and achieving success in maintaining accurate inventory, both internally and of shipments to customers/stores. What You'll Need to Have for the Role:
Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
Perform basic computer functions
Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization
Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Must be certified or become certified in operation of equipment if necessary
Must be willing to work overtime
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Be a team player and have a cooperative mindset.
Be punctual and ready to work.
Must be willing to be cross trained as business needs dictate.
Flexibility in work assignments is essential.
Physical Requirements Include:
Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
May lift up to 50 lbs. and/or move up to 100 lbs. with assistive devices.
Pay Range:
