DC Maintenance Specialist I

Responsible for the basic repair and general facilities and grounds maintenance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Keep the grounds mowed, weeds pulled from plant beds, trees trimmed, and all trash picked up at all buildings in the DC facility and complex.

Clean, weld, and repair totes as required.

Keep all equipment used for ground maintenance in good working condition.

Perform preventive battery maintenance and provide detailed maintenance records for quarterly audits.

Assist in moves at the DC, including taking apart and setting up new cubicles and offices, movable partitions, and office furniture, and equipment.

Assist with the general maintenance, as assigned, which will include changing light bulbs, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and some fabrication.

Provide preventative maintenance to company vehicles.

Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations.

All other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required:

Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and fabrication

Desired:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
