Job Description:

The Distribution Center Manager is responsible for the oversight of the RaceTrac Distributing Distribution Center. The Distribution Center Manager manages a team of supervisors, leads, and associates responsible for carrying out all operational duties. This individual will oversee and manage all Distribution Center functions to ensure processes and procedures are followed and each functional area is meeting its targeted productivity goals.

Responsibilities:

Provides strategic oversight to RaceTrac Distributing initiatives to ultimately produce a lower cost to the organization due to efficient distribution and warehouse management Is proactive and create specific measures to improve and optimize changes that enhance the interactions between the warehouse and the Store teams Demonstrates consistent awareness of the business and industry as it changes and understands respective ramifications Interviews, hires, trains, coaches and supervises DC management; ensures their work aligns with the overall warehouse goals Ensures financial initiatives are achieved on a quarterly basis to include, but not limited to KPI’s, budgets, and operational scorecards Oversees all general warehouse support functions; including but not limited to, picking product for the stores, auditing store orders, code dating product maintaining the facility, and executing all ad hoc requests Partners with staffing agency to solidify proper staff, and ensures performance metrics are met Ensures all issues with vendors are documented and communicated to the SSC SCM team Serves as a point of contact for conflict management of associates for escalated issues Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities to ensure all facilities are in compliance with both USDA and OSHA regulations Collaborates with the Transportation Manager to ensure all processes and procedures are consistently adhered to Partners with QA Manager and Continuous Improvement Manager to train DC Management and staff on all processes, systems (on-boarding, Empower, employee documentation, accounting etc.) and warehouse safety (i.e. operational, regulatory and administrative) to ensure consistent execution Has the ability to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift, in a fast-paced environment Has the ability to work a flexible schedule including to varying start/finish times, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications:

5+ years related experience requiredKnowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Access required

1st Shift

Salary Range- $65,000- $80,000
