WHAT YOU'LL DO

A Product Handler is responsible for maintaining a safe, accurate and productive work environment. This position is responsible for the stacking of all products exiting the conveyor in a safe and secure load on a pallet.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

Demonstrate behaviors that exemplify Rural King's Values: People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and Actively participate in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments.Use RF scan gun to scan cases off the conveyor and associate with designated load label.Ensure all pallets are stacked securely and cubed to max capacity to maximize shipping efficiency.Responsible for closing load and securing load with wrap and pulling from line with pallet jack when pallet is complete.Ensure all quality and production goals are met daily, weekly, and monthly.Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.Perform other duties as assigned.

 

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

At least one year of warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of experience and education. Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.Provide excellent customer service.Strong math skills and organizational skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.Must be able to lift 65 pounds at times.Must be able to access and navigate all facilities.Must be able to verbally communicate effectively with others (in-person and via electronic devices).Must be able to see at close and far distances.Must be able to lift, bend, carry, and push repetitively.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.75 per hour, with exact compensation determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
