Job Description The Supervisor, Shop supervises repairs/inspections of equipment according to department policies and applicable laws. This position supervises assigned technicians work assignments, and performs technical inspections, operational procedures, technical training, and safety operations/procedures for the shop. Responsibilities * Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals. * Manage shop operations in compliance with the applicable unionized labor agreement(s). * Other duties and projects, as assigned. * Plan, assign, direct, and appraise work. * Address equipment complaints and resolve problems. * Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment. Requirements * Associate's Degree, preferred * Experience and/or training in equipment maintenance, preferred * Leadership experience preferred. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, required * Accuracy and Attention to Detail * Coaching Others * Effective Communications * Managing Multiple Priorities * Problem Solving * Producing Results * Purchasing Tasks and Activities * Vendor Management Other Details * Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with occasional irregular hours depending on workload. * This is a salary position paid biweekly. * Variable compensation is included.
