DC Supervisor

Rotating shifts 6am - 2.30pm / 2.30pm - 11pm

Salary Range: From £33,000+ per year

As a Distribution Centre Supervisor you will have a great opportunity to develop your full potential with us.

How You Will Make a Difference

Lead one of our main functions in the Distribution Centre operation that supports our Brands, across e-commerce, retail and wholesale channels

Define and work towards goals in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People, working with Shift Team Leaders and Operations Management to manage and deliver against targets. 

Lead your team on safe working culture and supporting Health & Safety compliance in the Distribution Centre.

Develop and coach your Team Leaders and associates – supporting their growth.

Identifying process improvements through Continuous Improvement methods.

Skills for Success

You should be someone who has proven managerial experience in a fast-paced environment. This could be in a warehouse / logistics function but we are also really interested to hear from people from a range of backgrounds and industries

Previous experience in a leadership role will really help you to get the most out of your team and develop their performance, but also their careers with VF

Good stakeholder management experience for both internal and external teams  

An analytical background with the ability to demonstrate decision led leadership

The ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats across all levels of the logistics function and is able to present information and proposals in a professional, structured and persuasive way

The presence to make an immediate positive impression on others and inspire and expect the highest standards of performance and behaviour from self and team

The understanding and experience in applying Continuous Improvement tools, techniques and problem resolution skills
