DC Systems Supervisor

Oversees the day-to-day operation of the local distribution center IT team and support for level one calls to the service desk. Supervises the local IT staff and is responsible for production label printing, IT services, and local project execution.

 

1. Responsible for the supervision of direct reports including staffing, goal setting, training, development, performance assessment, and disciplinary actions. 2. Plans, monitors, organizes and distributes work assignments to direct reports. 3. Monitors and controls departmental expenses including overtime to meet or exceed financial plan.

4. Manages hardware support for the DC including installing and configuring new equipment, troubleshooting issues for all servers and radio frequency equipment. 5. Provides user support with system access to include profile setup/maintenance, logons, passwords, printer setup, etc.

6. Oversees the label printing, monitors system usage and performance, and manages the backup/recovery system.

7. Actively participates in the IT service call center in partnership with the corporate IT Service Desk.

8. Administrates local phone system, hardware, and facility directory, to include voicemail.

9. Responsible for the execution of IT projects within assigned facility.

10. Ensures departmental compliance with company, facility, and departmental standards.

1. High School diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.

2. One to three years of systems management experience required.

3. One to three years prior supervisory experience preferred.

4. Previous Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) knowledge preferred.

5. Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, time management and training skills required.

6. Ability to perform physical activity at a sustained pace including walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting within a Distribution Center environment required.
