The position
In PS API Expansion we are planning to expand our production facilities in Hillerød, Denmark, to meet the future needs of our growing product pipeline.
 
We are looking for Automation Engineers working in a project team, developing different IT/OT systems for the future factory.
You will play a crucial role in the project phase, in designing and reviewing e.g. FS, DQ, FAT, SAT etc. 

You will play a central role after project completion in maintaining and optimizing our application while ensuring the stability and support of our production. In this position, you will primarily work with DeltaV and integrated systems, including PAS-X, and OSI soft PI Historian vendor-provided equipment. If you are not familiar with those systems now, you will be trained during the project phase. 
 
Your responsibilities will be focused on:

Development of the data-driven architecture in close collaboration with data architects, process responsible, etc Maintaining and updating the system software and interfaces Supporting day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and testing system deviations in production Contributing to the efficient execution of our manufacturing processes when the end of the project, and the facility enters production Developing and coding updates to optimize our production processes within DeltaV Qualifying & documenting the changes in the system and ensuring QA Department approvals Collaborating with operators and supporters to analyze and identify possible optimizations Understanding the API production processes and ensuring uptime and reliability of interfaces among different IT/OT systems

   

Qualifications
To be a competitive candidate, you should have:

BSc degree within automation or similar and solid experience within automation environment, preferably knowledge of API in a GMP-regulated environment General knowledge of API processes, DCS (Distributed Control System) systems, industrial communications, S88 Batch control Experience working within production support Preferable experience with validation/qualification Experience with Distributed Control systems and industrial communications, preferred DeltaV and Specific knowledge about other system integrated e.g.: MES, Historian, and other interfaces


As a professional, it is a prerequisite that you have a strong desire to achieve process knowledge and provide the best solutions in close cooperation with our production and that you have A structured working approach and high data quality mindset.

 
This drives you to be close to the manufacturing processes and everyday lives of your stakeholders as you are curious to learn and understand how IT & Automation can help improve the production processes.
 
About the department
Our team is working to expand the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) capacity of our Biotech production in Hillerød. You will become a part of one of the most significant expansion projects in Novo Nordisk – and when finished the facility will employ approximately 340 colleagues. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will expand our capacity for our portfolio of clinical late phase products to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases including rare diseases.
