About the role
Our maintenance team, composed of 3 people, is integrated in the Industrial department and focuses on E&I, DCS in collaboration with the whole industrial team.
As a DCS engineer, you will work in Gunsan. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the industrial team and have a positive impact on the company.
You will be accountable for:
Conduct operations, maintenance, optimization, and work.
Operations and Maintenance
Monitor the performance of the DCS system on an ongoing basis. Identify and address any issues such as system failures, communication errors, or performance degradation.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, backups, and hardware inspections. Ensure the system is maintained in optimal condition.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and extend the life of the DCS system.
Respond to emergency calls and provide 24/7 support as needed to ensure continuous operation of critical processes.
Optimization and Improvement
Continuously evaluate the performance of the DCS system and identify opportunities for optimization. This may include adjusting control parameters, improving operator interfaces, or implementing new technologies.
Collaborate with process engineers to analyze process data and identify areas for process improvement. Develop and implement control strategies to enhance product quality, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
Stay up-to-date with the latest DCS technologies and industry trends. Recommend and implement upgrades and enhancements to keep the system at the forefront of technological advancements.
Conduct training sessions for plant personnel on the proper use and maintenance of the DCS system. Share best practices and knowledge to improve overall system performance.
We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode. You can work from home in some cases, but mostly work in the factory
About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Bachelor or master, major in Electric, Electronic, Plant automation, or the related.
Relevant work experience in Chemical or other industrial field.
2~4 years of related work experience
The related license holder preferred
Experienced in DCS programs(Honeywell)
Experienced in PLC programs
Korean/English speaking person

About the pay and benefits
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the South Korea base pay reasonably expected for this role is 70,432,480 to 88,040,600, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
