In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
End to End project design & engineering Efficient execution of Power & Water as well as Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) projects Should have adequate experience in Hardware Engineering, Panel design, Understanding the Network Architecture Understanding of buyouts such as (HMI, Servers, Cables, Control desk/furniture, Field Instruments, Relays, Barriers, HMI, UPS, Chargers, LVS etc.) Experience to build Bill of Material with support of manufacturing teams for achieving the desired result Site walk-downs for data collection, IO list preparation Experience in preparation of cable schedule, engineering documentation, TQs and business/customer correspondence Understanding of the project cycle, time management and production phases Awareness to technical risk during project execution and site activities Experience in Pre-FAT and conducting customer HW FAT and SAT Exposure to the support Procurement team and creating procurement requisition Working with contractors / sub-contractors and Vendors Verification and functional testing of I/O interfaces to field devices and Supervision of control system installation, commissioning and start-up Analyze customer inputs and understand requirements such as Design Specifications, IO list, Instrument Index, MCC drawings, HW loop typicals etc. Raise Technical Queries Develop System Architecture, System Interconnection diagram, Heat Power, Weight Calculation Perform I/O to Controller Assignment Define Hardware Concepts, third party interfaces (Modbus, IEC61850, OPC UA, OPC DA, DNP3 etc.) Develop/Review BOM for DCS and SCADA Design/review HW typicals, HW drawings for various cabinet such as Network, Server, System, Marshalling, Power Distribution, Interposing relay etc. Select third party components such as relays, barriers, Fiber Optic Patch Panels Review third party devices and verify/test compatibility with system Monitor/Review Cabinet build Develop Internal test plan Perform Internal testing, Third Party Interface test Develop HW FAT plan, HW-SW Integration plan Perform Integrated testing between SW & HW Perform FAT with customer Develop Draft, As Shipped, As Built documentation Develop SAT plan Loop checks at site Startup & Commissioning support Process simulation & testing Verification and functional testing of control logics, i.e. both Open & Closed loop controls HMI/Graphic development from conceptual sketches or P&ID’sWho You Are: You pursue everything with energy, drive and the zeal to succeed. You deliver messages in a clear, compelling and concise manner and actively listen. You lay out a detailed schedule and steps for achieving objectives and use landmarks to track and handle the progress of the work. You have the basic Third-party communication skills like Modbus, OPC UA, OPC DA, IEC61850, DNP3 etc. You are aware about the basic industrial automation sector norms, design requirements and best practices.
For This Role, You Will Need: Degree in Engineering (Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation & Control, or equivalent field) 4-6 years' project engineering and commissioning experience in field of Hardware Engineering, DCS / PLCs Basic understanding of GA/IA drawings, IO allocations, Power & Heat calculations and networking concepts Control design, implementation, process testing for Power / Water Treatment plants Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form as well as understanding of hardware drawings Proficiency with ISA and IEC618724 Solar PV KPI, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Ability to interface third party systems with DCS, SCADA using commonly used industrial protocols like Modbus, DNP3 etc.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Problem-solving, decision-making, and planning skills Ability to write reports, business correspondence and commissioning documents Ability to optimally present information and respond to queries from management, clients and customers Proficiency with AutoCAD and other drafting tools Proficiency with one or more DCS/PLC & SCADA Platforms (eg: Inaccess PPC, Green Power Monitoring , Yokogawa PXiSE etc Knowledge of datalinks (Modbus RTU / TCP-IP, IEC61850, IEC-60870-5-104, DNP3, Ethernet IP, Profibus, OPC UA/OPC DA etc.) Ability to effectively handle multiple stakeholders Network Switch configuration & Troubleshooting will be added advantage.
