The Network (DDI) Systems Lead is pivotal role in our current transition to onboard and implement new DDI and monitoring tools, including TCPWave, IBM’s LogScale, SevOne, and AI Ops. Responsible for ongoing product management and promotion of DDI and network monitoring products throughout all stages of their lifecycle. This includes gathering requirements, defining concepts, overseeing development, launching, and managing the monitoring products.

Must Haves (Required)

Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions, with a strong focus on security, compliance, and continuous improvement. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues, perform root cause analysis related to DDI services, and provide comprehensive documentation. Proficiency in optimizing network management systems, including creating dashboards and automating typical changes, demonstrating a commitment to efficiency and innovation. Strong product management skills, including gathering requirements, defining concepts, and overseeing development using Agile methodologies, coupled with excellent customer focus and engagement skills. Scripting abilities, combined with effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting trainings, and supporting diverse thinking. Demonstrated ability to operate and participate effectively as part of a global, multi-cultural team in a remote work environment. A curious mindset that fosters continuous learning, self-improvement, and asks insightful questions to drive innovation. Nice to Have Experience

TCPWave or other DDI Systems Unix/Linux administration Terraform & GitHub DevOps pipelines.  Network operating systems (Cisco IOS, etc...)  Capacity planning and performance analysis skills

1.    Design and Implementation: 
   o    Design, deploy, and maintain robust DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions.
   o    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DDI services seamlessly into the overall network architecture.
2.    Configuration and Optimization: 
   o    Configure DNS and DHCP servers for optimal performance and reliability.
   o    Implement IPAM strategies to efficiently manage and allocate IP addresses.
   o    Customize DDI and network management systems to automate typical changes and monitoring, including dashboards, test setups, and custom customer requirements.
3.    Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: 
   o    Proactively monitor and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, and IPAM issues.
   o    Investigate and resolve complex network-related problems related to DDI services.
   o    Provide network monitoring system support and conduct regular seminars to train Network Operations staff and Network Performance Management users, including management.
   o    Troubleshoot, patch, and upgrade Network Performance Management systems.
4.    Security and Compliance: 
   o    Implement security best practices to safeguard DNS and DHCP infrastructure.
   o    Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to DDI services.
   o    Understand security and control processes, working with a security and audit mindset.
5.    Documentation: 
   o    Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, changes, and procedures.
   o    Provide comprehensive documentation for troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
6.    Collaboration and Communication: 
   o    Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure DDI services align with overall network security policies.
   o    Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and reports on DDI-related activities.
   o    Serve as a Technical Expert, aiding internal customers.
7.    Product Management: 
   o    Manage the lifecycle of network monitoring products from concept through to post-launch.
   o    Gather requirements, define concepts, and oversee product development.
   o    Track tasks through Agile project management.
8.    Technical Skills: 
   o    Ability to script in Python and Bash.
   o    Detailed understanding of DDI and network monitoring tool functionality.
   o    Strong knowledge of cloud services, software, and hardware integration.
