Deal Origination Analyst

Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Deal Origination and Execution Analyst to support their Commercial and Corporate Investment Banking deal teams. This role will involve the analysis, execution, and management of complex credit documentation and operational processes to ensure seamless deal closures and compliance with banking guidelines.
Responsibilities:
* Deal Support: Provide origination and execution support to investment banking deal teams, ensuring efficient and timely completion of transactions
* Credit Documentation Analysis: Read and interpret complex credit documents, assess operational feasibility, and offer feedback and recommendations as necessary
* System Setup: Oversee the accurate and timely setup of all agency-related systems, ensuring all data is correctly recorded and maintained
* Collaboration: Work closely with deal team members, including attorneys, customers, and investors, to facilitate a smooth closing process
* Market Feedback: Communicate operational market trends and preferred deal structures to the deal structuring team to enhance transaction efficiency
* Funding Management: Initiate and manage loan funding activities, collaborating with Corporate Treasury and syndicate lenders throughout the funding process
* Accrual Tracking: Calculate and track complex interest and fee accruals across varying rate levels and lender distributions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting
* Accounting Coordination: Ensure the accounting team receives all necessary data for the proper accounting of fees and financial transactions
* Compliance Checks: Confirm all conditions precedent are met and compliance items align with established banking guidelines
* Demonstrate accurate and timely completion of customer service tasks and research in accordance with credit agreements
* Mitigate credit and business risk through awareness of procedures, compliance, and banking policies
